Peanut Butter Cinnamon Blondies (with Peanut Butter Frosting)

Ingredients
For the blondies:
- 1/3 cup butter, at room temperature
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
For the frosting:
- 1 tablespoons butter, softened
- 2 tablespoons peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons milk
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking powder.
- In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to combine the butter, peanut butter, brown sugar, and egg. Add the syrup until combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and stir until no flour remains. Pour into an 8" x 8" well-buttered or sprayed pan and spread batter to the edges.
- Bake for 27-30 minutes. Let blondies rest and cool while you make the frosting.
- For the frosting: In a small bowl, use and electric mixer to whisk butter, peanut butter, sugar, and milk together.
- Cut and frost the blondies before serving.
